Problems with retention? One of the most common reasons for bad retention is a poor pre-treatment procedure.
If you want eyelash extensions to last longer, natural lashes need to be absolutely free of any traces of oils, sebum, dust or make-up before you begin the lash application.
With just a lash cleanser and primer it's not always possible to clean natural lashes up to the excellent standard. If any make-up or oils remain on the natural lashes - retention will be affected.
For the best retention, always wash the client's lashes before the treatment with our FOAMING CLEANSER / LASH SHAMPOO:
Pair with our aftercare leaflet and a mascara wand for the ultimate client aftercare package.
IMPORTANT! Please note that one of the ingredients of the foaming cleanser is Tea tree extract. Tea tree oil has the antibacterial quality to prevent common eye conditions like blepharitis, however, it might cause irritation for clients with sensitive eyes. If the client reports any stinging or irritation, stop using the eyelash shampoo immediately, rinse it with lots of water and don't use for the same customer again.
Does it’s job ✨
Great cleanser, I would recommend. It lasts forever and cleans lashes perfectly.
I've been using this one as a lash bath for my clients and recently started to use this one on myself too and I'm happy how it is cleaning the lashes. The eyes feel refreshed, all make up is removed (even waterproof) and my retention has increased.
It's a good foam cleanser with rich foam - great for makeup removal but I'd suggest having clients use it themselves as it's not always easy to rinse all the foam off when doing it for the client.
I've got one at home for daily use too and find it's also helping to improve the retention if used daily / every other day.
I got a couple of these to retail to my customers and they all say how nicely it removes the make up. They were usually using a baby hair shampoo from Walmart as it’s cheap but I finally encouraged them to use something professional just for eyelashes. I can see their retention got better and they finally come with clean lashes!!!! I also use it for lash bath before the appointment and then use alcohol non-rinse based cleanser 👌🏻 I only wouldn’t recommend for sensitive eyes but other than that all good xoxo
