PREMADE FAN ARE BACK! HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

Stop the press! You heard it here first - premade fans are BACK! Only this time they’re a little bit different from our previous collection of premade fans. We took our premades to our lash lab and after lots of brainstorming, testing & yes, more testing we have brought you the new and improved London Lash premade fans. Let us take a moment to acquaint you all with your new ride or die product.

WHAT ARE PREMADE FANS MADE OF?

We’ve made our new premade fans from the same fibre as our beloved Mayfair lashes. Why is this great? This means that the fibre and fans will already feel familiar to you and easy for you to use.

For those of you not familiar with our Mayfair lash fibre, they’re made from a synthetic fibre called PBT which is amazingly durable, water and heat resistant, not to mention hypoallergenic and vegan!

HOW ARE PREMADE FANS MADE IF NOT BY HAND?

Well, they are. We’ve teamed up with our amazing suppliers who work closely with our product development team to develop the BEST possible premade fans. They are made by hand, just not by you. Because they are handmade they have a gorgeous slim, pinched base - even on fans as large as 6D. The slimness of the base massively reduces the chance of stickies (something you can experience with wider fan bases).

WHAT’S SO GOOD ABOUT THEM?

Well, not to blow our own trumpet, but EVERYTHING! Not only do they look just as perfect as the fans you’d make yourself, they will speed up your lash treatments, are safe to use on every client and will give you the freedom to charge that little bit extra per set.

The ONLY minor downside is that they cost slightly more per premade fan than it is for handmade fans. However, when you consider that you can fit in more clients as the fans are already made for you and that for these quicker sets you can charge that little bit extra, this hardly feels like a factor! 

HOW DO YOU USE THEM? 

Well, just the same as you would use other lashes. Similarly to when working with volume fans it is easiest to use your volume tweezers. Attach them to the natural lash the exact same way and even dip them in the glue in, you guessed it, in the exact same way. 

We’ve even changed the way the fan sits on the strip. Due to the slim leg of the fans, we’ve changed the way you pick them up from the strip compared to our old premades and handmade fans. 

  • Pick up the fans from the base and put them back down on the strip a little flatter 
  • Pick the fan back up from the middle of the body like you’d pick up a handmade fan
  • Dip the fan as normal and place it on the lash.

WHAT GLUE SHOULD YOU USE WITH PREMADE FANS? 

All glues are perfectly fine to use with our new premade fans, so just use whichever works best for you! Don’t forget though, these are a lot quicker to place than handmade fans, so you may need a slightly quicker glue than what you’re used to. Our advice would be to try with your normal glue and if you feel comfortable enough to work slightly faster, why not test out a slightly faster glue. Don’t rush this though, the last thing you want is to go too fast too quick and end up with retention issues!
