When you own a Lash Extension business there are so many different elements to consider. Rarely, though it happens, you may forget to put in a supply order for something you really need, like Lash Glue! Using next day delivery may be risky and if it is a weekend, you cannot guarantee that delivery to be on time. The risk and the expense may not be worth it.
How can you avoid this happening, if it ever happens, and not to wait until something has ran out before you place your urgent order. Restocking is as important as all other aspects of your business.
Stock control. This is similar to how supermarkets take note of products that have short expiration dates, long expiration dates or no expiration dates at all. So, let's start with Lashes. There is no expiry date, so there is no need to worry about your lashes, take count of them as and when you need to make sure you have the lengths and curls you usually work with most often.
Eyepatches and Tape. Again, it's actually quite important to note that eyepatches do have an expiry date, these are typically quite long though and as they're single use, you are safe to stock up on these as well.
Liquids are another product which you can stock up on... to some degree. They have a longer expiration date. Products such as Pretreatment or Lash Extension Removers are great for their expiration length, however, it is wise not to have too many. We do advice, no more than three of any of these items as it can be easy to lose track of when you bought each specific batch.
- Top Tip - Use a piece of tape and write the date on the bottles to remember when you opened them.

Glue! Yes, unfortunately, that is the one product which we advise lash technicians against stocking up on. Lash glue is a product which always needs to be purchased fresh to ensure the best retention for lash extensions. Do remember that lash adhesives have a 6 month shelf life from the Date of Production! For our London Lash Glue range you can find this date on the bottom of the bottle and one the aluminium pouch that your glue arrives in. Our advice is, once opened replace your glue within 4-6 weeks to get the best results during your treatments.
-Top Tip- If you must, you can keep 2 months' worth of glue, just in case. Keep your glue refrigerated before opening or taking out of the pouch until you need to use it.
