For Lash Techs who are experienced in Classic Lashes and want to expand their skills and clientele, offering Volume Lashes is an obvious next step. Lash Techs who have never performed Volume Lashes may believe there is little difference between Classic and Volume treatments. However, the techniques used for each lash set are different, as are some of the products and tools. This guide explores what was included in our London Lash Introductory Kit for Volume Lashes. Why Was This Lash Kit Suitable for Me?

If you’ve recently finished a Volume Lashes course and are wondering which products you need for the treatment, a curated kit can be an ideal starting point. We have designed and manufactured specific tools to support different skill levels and help Lash Artists progress in their careers. It is important to understand what you are investing in, which is why a kit containing the essential items can be a convenient option.

You may be wondering why you cannot simply use the products already available in your Classic Lashes Kit. In many cases, you absolutely can. Products such as Pretreatment, Lash Glues and Lash Extension Removers are versatile and can be used for Classic, Volume and Hybrid Lashes.

However, many lash extensions, tweezers and adhesives are designed for Lash Techs with greater experience and a lot of practice behind them. Purchasing every item individually can require a significant investment, especially for Lash Technicians beginning their Volume journey. The Introductory Kit was curated to make the necessary products more accessible and help Lash Artists develop their skills using professional tools.

What Was in the Introductory Lash Extensions Kit?

Volume Lashes use a technique in which two or more individual extensions are formed into a lash fan and placed onto a natural lash to create a fuller, more dramatic result. A Classic Eyelash Training Kit may contain Ellipse Flat Lashes, which are intended for Classic Lash sets and are not suitable for creating handmade Volume fans. This means that some items from a Classic kit may not be appropriate for the Volume Lash technique.

For Volume Lashes, the kit included London Lash Mayfair Eyelash Extensions in 0.05 C Curl, 0.07 C Curl and 0.15 C Curl mixed trays. These extensions produce a bold, shiny finish suitable for dramatic Volume Lash sets.

The kit also included Chelsea Lashes in 0.07 C Curl and 0.12 C Curl mixed trays. These semi-matte lashes could be combined with Mayfair Lashes to create a softer Hybrid Lash set using a mixture of Classic extensions and Volume fans.

The kit also included Easy Fanning Lashes in a 0.07 C Curl mixed tray. These lashes have a semi-matte finish and feature a mixture of two lengths on each strip, making it easier to create a textured and wispy lash look. The two lengths have a difference of approximately 2 mm—for example, 8 mm and 10 mm on one strip—allowing Lash Artists to create a dense lash set with a lighter, wispy top line.

For tools, the kit included sturdy Straight Tweezers, Curved Tweezers and a pair of Fine Tip Volume Tweezers. Volume Tweezers are designed for picking up multiple lash extensions and creating handmade Volume fans. Their fine tips can help Lash Artists create both narrow and wide fans.

The kit also included the standard three-step Pretreatment products: Protein Removing Pads, Cleanser and Primer, along with 100 bendable Micro Brushes.

For securing the lower lashes, the kit contained 10 eyepatch treatments. You can browse the current Eyepatches collection to find the most suitable option for each client. A Lash Mapping Pen was also included for drawing lash maps onto the eyepatches.

The kit included Lady Bond lash adhesive and a Jade Stone with 24 Glue Stone Stickers to help keep the stone clean.

While you may be comfortable using faster-drying adhesives such as Flexie or Power Bond, Lady Bond can be suitable for Lash Techs who are beginning to create Volume fans because its more gradual drying time provides additional time for precise placement.

Finally, the kit contained our Cream Remover for safely removing eyelash extensions when a client is ready for a new look.
